De Bruyne began his professional career with Genk in 2010, where he spent two seasons before moving to English side Chelsea in 2012. He was immediately loaned back to Genk for the 2012–13 season. In 2013, he joined Bundesliga club Werder Bremen on a season-long loan. The following season, he joined German side Wolfsburg for €20 million. He won the Bundesliga title with the club in the 2014–15 season.
De Bruyne joined Wolfsburg in January 2015 for a club record fee of €22 million.

How long was De Bruyne at Wolfsburg
De Bruyne was an absolute revelation for Wolfsburg last season, putting up some incredible numbers in both goals and assists. He’ll be looking to build on that success this coming season and there’s no reason to think he won’t be able to do it. He’s a world-class talent and one of the best players in the world.
Pep Guardiola says that he knew Kevin De Bruyne was a special player when he signed him for Manchester City in 2015, and he is delighted with the impact he has made at the club. Guardiola says that De Bruyne is a joy to watch and is a player who can make a difference in any game.
Is KDB better than Gerrard?
It’s amazing that Kevin De Bruyne has been able to match Steven Gerrard’s assist tally in such a short amount of time. It really shows how talented he is and how much of an impact he’s had on Manchester City’s success over the years.
Kevin de Bruyne has been voted ahead of Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard as the best midfielder in the Premier League’s history. This is an incredible achievement for the Belgian, who has only been playing in the Premier League for six years. De Bruyne is a truly world-class talent, and it is no surprise that he is being recognised as the best midfielder in Premier League history.
Why did Chelsea sell KDB?
Even though the manager said it wasn’t a mistake, it sounds like De Bruyne was asking for too much too soon. He should have been patient and waited for his chance to shine.
In 2014, Kevin De Bruyne signed with Wolfsburg for £18 million, where he quickly established himself as one of the best players in the Bundesliga. He was an essential part of the club’s successful 2014–15 season, in which they won the DFB-Pokal. In the summer of 2015, De Bruyne joined Manchester City for a club record £54 million. At Manchester City, De Bruyne has continued to excel, becoming one of the best players in the Premier League and helping the club win several trophies, including the 2019 Premier League title.
Who was better in their prime Ozil or De Bruyne
KDB is a more versatile player than Ozil and is more creative in my opinion. He has a good repertoire of tricks and can play in either central midfield or attacking positions.
15/10/2020
I was really impressed with De Bruyne’s performance against us yesterday. He was so composed on the ball and always looked like he had time and space to make things happen. He was a big reason why City won and I think he’s definitely the best midfielder in the world right now.
Why was De Bruyne removed?
Guardiola says that De Bruyne, who warmed up in the second half, felt fit enough to play against Jurgen Klopp’s men. However, the boss decided against introducing him off the bench to avoid aggravating the playmaker’s injury further.
It is with much regret that we announce the departure of Steve McClaren from his position as head coach of VfL Wolfsburg.
We would like to thank Steve for his efforts during his time with the club, and wish him all the best for the future.

Who is a better passer Messi or De Bruyne
Lionel Messi is a world-renowned footballer who has achieved immense success at both the club and international level. He is widely considered to be one of the best players of his generation, and his remarkable ability to create goals and score them has made him a household name.
Kevin de Bruyne is a Belgian international footballer who plays for English club Manchester City. He is considered to be one of the best attacking midfielders in the world, and his exceptional vision and passing ability has been a key part of Manchester City’s success in recent years.
While both players are world-class talents, their pass completion rates into the box differ significantly. Lionel Messi has a pass completion rate of 59% for passes into the box, while Kevin de Bruyne’s pass completion rate is 47%.
There are a number of factors that could explain this difference. Messi is often the focal point of Barcelona’s attack, and as such, he receives a lot of attention from opponents. This can make it difficult to find space to make a clean pass into the box. De Bruyne, on the other hand, is part of a Manchester City team that is packed with world-class attacking talent. This means that he often has more space to make a pass
Zinedine Zidane is one of the few complete midfielders in the world. He can do everything on the field, and he was at his best during his Liverpool days. Gerrard was the best midfielder in the world during his prime, and there are few players who can match his all-around ability.
