Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, commonly known as Neymar or Neymar Jr., is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for French club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team. He is widely considered as one of the best players in the world.<\/p>\n

Neymar was born in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, to a middle-class family. His father, Neymar Santos Sr., is a former footballer and served as his son’s advisor throughout his career. His mother, Nadine da Silva, is a former housewife. He has a sister, Rafaella Beckran, who is also a footballer.<\/p>\n

Neymar began playing football as a youngster and caught the attention of Santos FC at the age of 11. He was eventually signed by the club. He made his professional debut for Santos in 2009, and helped the club win two successive Campeonato Paulista championships, a Copa do Brasil, and the 2011 Copa Libertadores.<\/p>\n

In 2013, Neymar transferred to FC Barcelona for a fee of €57.1 million, making him the second most expensive footballer at the time. He won the La Liga championship in his<\/p>\n
